no. Providence is the capital city. the just felt like giving us a long name? i'd say research on somewhere other than here if you want an indepth answer.

At what age will a Rhode Island Rooster start crowing?

I have a he/she Rhode Island Red Chicken. it looks like a male but it is 4 months old and still doesn't crow! At what age will a Rhode Island Red Rooster Start crowing. And if you will please provide a picture of a 4 month old Rhode Island Red Rooster. By the Way, it doesn't have spurs either.

Answer:
5-6 months old, I have not raised Rhode Island Reds nor do I have a picture I am sorry, but I have raised New Hampshire Reds which are closely related,along with several other heavy/ brown egg breeds. All the Roosters I have raised , have met or seen have 'high' gloss feathers like really shiny, like the sun on water or a new car. a hen will shine a little but mostly they glow in the sun. At 3 months old the little roosters start to get there glossy feathers and pretty much have them by four months for the breeds I have raised: Barred & Partridge Plymouth Rocks, a variety of Game crosses, New Hampshire Reds, Buff Orpingtons, Silver & Gold Laced Wyandottes, Black Australorps, and many different crosses between. In 11years I have raised 26 roosters and only one has ever crowed before 5 months old. The one is some sort of Old english game cross of a cross(who knows what) at 2months old and 5inches tall he started piping out this little squeaky crow and has been crowing ever since. Their spurs don't start growing until about 7-8 months old.

Husband and I are a fun, early 20's newlywed couple and would like to take a road trip to RI end of June for a long weekend.. Any suggestions on what town to head to, hotel recommendations for a young couple like ourselves? We like to enjoy a good hotel, good restaurants and maybe hit a lounge or classy nightclub. NEWPORT! Its absolutely beautiful there. lots of scenery, tourism areas, and fun things to do.. nightclubs are great food is awesome.. lots of seafood and boat rides. there is a dinner boat ride... one of my best vacations ever.

Rhode Island probably has the *smallest* amount of ocean coastline of any state on the ocean - look at a map!

What is a good siberian cat breeder near the rhode island massachusetts area?

I specifically need a siberian (prices anywhere under 900 bucks) near rhode island and massachusetts. It cant be a more than 3 hour drive.

You can check through the breeder directory or contact TICA or CFA to see if there are any in your area. If you can't find a kitten in your price range, you may be able to adopt or purchase a retired show/breeder cat, after all, they need and deserve a family home too! It looks as though most prices are around $2000 for a kitten from a reputable breeder. Also another alternative is to have the cat shipped by plane, it really is affordable, many breeders do this. Keep in mind there are MANY great cats that may look the same as the cat you are seeking for a lot less money at your local animals shelters. Good Luck in your searches!

In Providence, RI during the third week of October, the average high temps are in the low 60's and the average lows are in the low 40's. It looks like in some recent years there have bee days where it was sunny and 80 degrees and some days where it was cloudy and only 45 degrees during the day. Also, some low temps at night can approach the freezing mark (32 degrees) or some days be as warm as 60. As for what type of jacket to wear use your best judgment. I provided a link for the 7 day forecast to Providence and about 3 or 4 before you go check the weather and decide what to wear. In normal temps, I would wear no jacket in the afternoon and a sweatshirt at night and in the morning but that's just me. I live on Long Islands,NY and I often see people wearing winter jackets in October when it's 65 degrees out and sunny. So what to wear is a matter of personal preference. It should take two days which would put the letter there on Wednesday if mailed Monday. But there is no way of guaranteeing the delivery time to be before noon unless you overnight the letter. Time of delivery varies depending on each letter carriers route. CH

It's all about the money. With production facilities available in this area, movie producers can cut expenses. MA is offering tax breaks to filmmakers. If the rest of production (not just the filming) of movies is done locally, it means a great deal of revenue for the states and jobs for local people.
