How big are the freshman dorms at Ohio State and Kent State in Ohio?

I am a senior in high school looking at colleges.. I am going to visit these school but I am really curious as to what freshman dorms look like at these schools (or at other colleges you may attend) - I know it isn't that important but like I said, I am curious! Thanks!

I go to Kent State, so that's all I can really tell you about. The "freshman" dorms at Kent, also known as small group, are actually being torn down and freshmen will be living in other ones (which I think will be mixed with other grades). I never lived in those, if you have a certain major or are in honors there are other dorms you can choose a dorm besides the freshman ones, but I've been in them. They were quite old and prolly the crapiest dorms on campus, besides being real far from everything. I lived in Olson, the communications dorm my first year, which was alright but definetly not the best. If you are honors, those dorms are really nice, carpeted, air...etc. Olson and some other dorms aren't, and some have micro fridges, some don't. If you tour the school, most likely you will just see the model room. Try and see an actual room, I never saw one before I moved in, but maybe you could arrange it by talking to someone. The bathrooms at Olson and many of the dorms are one for the whole floor, but they're pretty nice. I think most floor bathrooms now have multiple individual rooms with a shower, sink and toilet. Some dorms have a bathroom in each room or share between rooms in a suite. It depends which dorm you get, they each have different qualities. As for how big they are, that differs as well, but the model rooms are a pretty good scale. It's prolly similar to a good sized room of an average house. They're not very roomy, but not many dorms are.

So many comments about soldiers opened fire at students in Burma , China and other places. Do americans really know their own history ............. the shooting of students in Kent State University in Ohio during a Vietnam war protest.

Yeah... those who were around them probably do... But those of us who were around at the time also know that the National Guard was there to prevent destruction of property. The students were not peacefully protesting... sitting on the ground singing anti-war songs. They were advancing on I think it was the Administration Building. The National Guard warned them to disperse. The kept coming. How dumb can one be to advance on a guy holding a weapon? They didn't have authorization to be there. Nobody had any reason to be there... except to do damage. Some may question whether the a student's life is worth a few thousand dollars damage to a building. I think that's a question a student needs to ask himself or herself before he or she plans to break the law and tries to damage a building that tax-payer dollars built.
